An Autumn Update

It’s been a busy month here at The Chocolate Bar, and it’s only going to get busier as we approach the festive season. Yes, I said festive season… This is your warning that I might use the C word in this post!

So, what’s been happening with us?

Well, it’s been another busy few weeks of custom orders including a very special cake and cake pops for a baby shower. That’s real gold you see in the pictures below! We don’t typically offer novelty cakes, but we’re always open to making cake pops and smash hearts. If you’d like to discuss ordering your own, just send us a message!

We’ve also been welcoming Autumn in by offering some seasonal specials in the cafe. The toffee apple brownies have been a big hit lately, and today we launched a new flavoured latte that is proving to be very popular with the creme brûlée fans…

The most exciting update of all is that earlier this month, we had our biggest order of the year arrive. So big in fact that we had to shut the shop for the day as there was no room for customers! The delivery was lots of lovely ingredients that we need for our Halloween and Christmas products (I warned you I’d mention it!). You know our shop isn’t the biggest, so it was a wee bit like playing Tetris to find space for all the ingredients.

We’ve already got some ideas in the works for Christmas, but do let us know if you have any suggestions of treats you’d like to see (and eat) for the festive season. You know we’re always up for experimenting and playing around with chocolate!

If you’re not bored of me yet and would like to keep reading, I was recently interviewed by Ellon Life. I share a wee bit about where my passion for chocolate comes from and how the business started! Click here to read.
