What equipment will you need?

You don’t need much for this recipe…

All you need is: a teaspoon, a pan, a bowl, a knife, a spatula, a jug of hot water and a fork.

Okay… I’ve got my ingredients and my equipment. Now what do I do?

First up is making the ganache!

  1. Add the dark chocolate to a bowl and set aside.

  2. Pour your double cream into a pan and bring to a boil. Make sure to keep stirring it to avoid it burning!

  3. Once boiled, pour the hot cream over the chocolate and add in your butter.

  4. Give it a good stir until it’s fully combined and the chocolate is melted.

  5. Guess what? You’ve made your ganache - it’s really as easy as that! Now just set it to the side and allow it to cool.

Ganache cooled and set? Now it’s time to roll your truffles!

  1. Pour cocoa powder into a bowl.

  2. Heat your teaspoon by placing it in a jug of hot water, then once the teaspoon is warm, use it to shape some of your ganache into a small ball.

  3. Drop the ball of ganache into your cocoa powder and roll it around until it’s fully coated.

  4. Repeat this process until you’ve used up all of your ganache.

You can leave them to set a bit further or eat them straight away… You do you, we won’t judge!
